Criminal record legalised for abroad

Work visa, residence permit, naturalisation, working with children: foreign authorities require a recent Swiss criminal record extract — apostilled, often translated. We obtain the extract, legalise it per destination and deliver a ready-to-file dossier.

Freshness: the detail that sinks files

Nearly all foreign authorities require a «recent» extract — under 3, sometimes 6 months. The clock starts at the extract's issue date, not the apostille's: an extract obtained too early can expire while the rest of the file comes together. We time the retrieval to your actual submission date.

Note the difference between the ordinary extract (standard) and the special extract (activities with minors or vulnerable people): both can be apostilled, but they are not interchangeable — the receiving authority always states which one. In doubt, we check for you.

Frequently asked questions

Can you obtain the extract on my behalf?
Yes — that's the core of the service: we request the extract (ordinary or special), then legalise seamlessly with no gap between steps.
How long is an apostilled extract valid?
The apostille doesn't expire, but the authority judges the extract's freshness itself: aim for under 3 months at filing. We time it with you.
Is a translation needed?
Very often — the Swiss extract is multilingual (fr/de/it) but many authorities require their own language. Certified translation in the same order.
I live abroad — how does it work?
Entirely remotely: order online, retrieval in Switzerland, legalisation, then tracked international shipping straight to you or the authority.
